On timeslips.org anyone can read/write/share stories. 

But if you want to facilitate storytelling with people with dementia, our Trainings can help ensure you are successful. Watch a free, 11 minute live demonstration here.
All proceeds from the trainings go to support the TimeSlips project. 

We have both Online and In-Person trainings in which you will learn:

• The meaning and value of creative expression
• An introduction to dementia and dementia care
• The basics of person-centered care
• The TimeSlips storytelling process in detail
• Models for sharing the stories with your community

Our playful and engaging trainings are ideal for:

• Family/friend caregivers
• Professional caregivers (at any level)
• Chaplains
• Students (high school through university)
• Administrators

Training for Individuals

• Take our Online Training  (4 hours) (Now Available! ) ($99 includes manual)
• Apply to become a Certified Facilitator after training in and practicing the method

Training for Classrooms

• Online Training is available for high school and college classes.
• Contact Sue Braden to arrange for your class to take the training ($29/per student includes manual)

Training for Organizations

• Host an In-Person training workshop for your staff 
• Arrange for additional observation/consulting to become a Certified TimeSlips Organization

Certification

For Individuals

• Complete the initial training
• Practice the method
• Apply for certification
• Complete a self-evaluation of practice form
• Engage with a Trainer who provides you with suggestions to improve your practice
• Certification is valid for 3 years

Certified Facilitators are eligible to receive:

• Electronic newsletters
• Ongoing support from TimeSlips Trainers
• Access to the Certified Facilitator Resource Page

For Organizations

Contact Sue Braden to arrange an individualized plan
for your organization, including: 

• In-person and online training
• Consulting from a TimeSlips Trainer
• Hosting your own Celebration of Storytelling
• Creation of multiple, interdisciplinary teams of facilitators
• Creation of a "sustainability" plan
• Annual check-ins with a Trainer
• Certification is valid for 3 years

Certified Organizations are eligible to receive:

• A profile on the TimeSlips website
• Electronic newsletters
• Ongoing support from TimeSlips Trainers
