Have Bag, Will Travel

This must be the  picture of a little boy.  Look at the look on his face.  He has such a big grin, and big fingers.  You can tell it is a boy from his eyes and he has dimples!  His name is Chuckles because that’s what he makes us think of when we look at him.

He is a doctor’s son and he’s in a leather bag because his mommy thought it might be a cute picture.  He is smiling because he saw Mommy with the camera.  Perhaps someone who is not in the immediate family put him in there.  It almost looks as if he is taking a bath because it looks like water underneath him.  .

Maybe he’s going away in his bag to “see the world”.  He has a good imagination.  He seems to be saying “I’m ready to GO!  Let’s GO!”

Grandfather had a bag like that. He was a Baptist preacher.  The bag was made of heavy leather and was rough/smooth.  It snapped shut.  There was a spring set in it that made it snap shut and I would try to open it.  I didn’t know that I could remember that.

He’s sitting in there playing.  I’d say “Just be quiet!’

There is something behind the baby—a table with something on it.  Perhaps it is the base for the light.

He’s a happy baby.  I don’t think that he has any clothes on. They just put him in the basket.  Yes, for a “photo op”.

He’s going to become a doctor and deliver babies and put them all in his bag.
