Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an MFA in creative writing. She facilitates TimeSlips and poetry groups based on the Alzheimers Poetry Project model in residential care communities, senior centers and adult day programs and sees individual elders in their homes. She is a teaching artist in storytelling and creative writing with EngAGE, a non-profit that provides arts programming in senior housing, and also serves as an improv coach for elders through the LA studio, Improv for the People. Sarah is committed to the practice of creative engagement as a tool for meaningful self-expression, community building and fun.
