Superheroes Creativity Guide
Inspire someone to think a little differently - with no right or wrong answers.
Summary
Superheroes is a long-term project designed for people of all ages and abilities. Through storytelling and art, we explore what it means to be a hero, how heroes inspire us, and how we find heroic qualities in everyday people and situations. We bring the stories and images of superheroes to life for all to see, learn from, and be inspired by.
This type of project is designed to invite learning, inspire creativity, and establish a sense of community among participants. It builds on and recognizes the individual strengths and contributions of participants over time. It is accessible to everyone, and invites the larger community to see and connect with participants and in a new way. This can increase family, volunteer and staff engagement leading to a deepening of relationships and reduction of stigma around aging, memory loss, and other physical and cognitive differences.
