A Day at the Beach
“Ready for swimming,” says Yiannis.
“They’re on Bondi Beach!” says Kiro.
Very nice, isn’t it? He’s running.
“It’s like in Athens,” says Maria, “at the Kolonaki.”
George isn’t sure it’s Bondi though. He points to the green hills in the background.
The lady is wearing a blue bathing suit and her name is Jane. The man with her is named Michael. They’re married. “They’ve got to be together,” insists Ellen. “See how they’re holding hands!” But Roberta thinks we’re imagining things!
It’s hard to say what the weather is like. It all depends on what the weather man says. We think it’s a beautiful day and they’ve gone to the beach to get wet. “Bondi Beach is number one!” says Kiro.
You can hear the sound of the waves. Jane and Michael have come a long way, from Tourogo, and they’re very tired. We can also hear the sound of people in the background.
After Jane and Michael swim, they’ll get dressed and have a walk, and they’ll have something to eat. Helen and Val agree! Maria says she loves their costumes and she loves the colour blue!
