A Day in the Life of Carol and Elaine or The Ocean of the Arctic Penguins
They look like penguins in the water. They want to go in the water and swim.
Their names are Carol and Elaine. They swim in the lake or the arctic ocean and play around. They are some kind of fowl.
They will dive under the water where the other penguins are. They speak Spanish. Ole`!
Carol and Elaine tell each other that they like each other. They say, "Let's go for a dive!" They hold hands. They met on an iceberg a year ago.
Isaiah is a penguin too. They eat ice and fish that they catch with their mouths. They swallow them whole.
Penguins walk side to side and they make a noise. "WAWK, WAWK, WAWK." They are outside in the ice and snow. They huddle up together to stay warm. Poor things. They are out there all alone.
Penguins fly when they are tired of walking and swimming. Next, they will go to the movies and pray for hot weather. They might go shopping to get some popsicles and coats of some kind.
Carol and Elaine are looking forward to a good time. They have happy feet. They are black and white. There has are like a human and they are pointed like a lemon. The beak looks like a carrot.
Elaine tells Carol, "I'm glad we are friends. Carol says, "I love you, too." They look like twins.
June is a triplet. The triplet's names are June, Jean, and Jan.
The penguins are standing on a bank facing some water looking over the sunset.
(Note: We made up a dance to the story with swimming, diving, walking like penguin, and swallowing movements to some Parliament music. Along with our favorite penguin noise--WAWK, WAWK, WAWK. Loads of laughing.)
