It is a rainy summer day. The streets are pooling with water, and Stacy is crossing the street. She is going to work at her job as a barista in New York City. Today is a good day for getting coffee at the coffee shop. Stacy is happy to be going to work because she loves her job. Cars are driving by, and you can hear their tires splashing in the water, as well as the rain hitting the cars, ground, and Stacy's umbrella. The air smells like rain, and it's humid. There are a few other people walking in the rain, but not very many. Most people are either at home or driving in their cars. Stacy's pants are getting wet from where they are touching the puddles. She will try to dry them off when she gets to work.
