Two penguins are walking down memory lane, holding hands, down the beach. They are definitely a couple: Percy the Penguin and Pamela.
They are thinking about the water: it’s calmer than yesterday.
They are going for a walk, going for a swim, going fishing. They are feeling excited, anticipating a waddle.
They had a good feed here yesterday. They are looking out for danger. They stand on the rocks when they lose their plumage. They are looking both ways for more food. They will dive under the water for food.
It looks sunny – they are warming their bodies before their dip.
They are going to get married – they are mates for life. There are no guests yet. They are not speaking – there is some pre-marriage nervousness.
They are looking out to see what’s around. Are they waiting for a bus?
Is it a father taking his son to look at the water for the first time? It could be a mother and daughter.
They are going to dive in – together – hand in hand – happily ever after!
