Bad Dad or Things That Could Happen but Shouldn’t
Looks like the baby is falling in the water so the man better catch him! The baby can't handle himself yet. He better catch that baby before he falls.
He's about 1 1/2. If he was 3, the man wouldn't be able to throw him like that. The dad is David and his baby is Rickie. They are at the lake front (Lake Michigan). That's a lot of water. If Rickie falls in the water, he will drown.
Rickie is looking at the people on the beach. He's looking for mommy. "I'm gonna tell momma if he drops me in the water. Somebody help me! This is not fun! Stop doing that! Wait till I get older!" He can't wait to get older to throw daddy in the water.
David thinks he's going to show Rickie a good time out there in the water. David is thinking about how much fun it will be when Rickie is older. They can play football. He can throw his daddy in the air.
You shouldn't play with no baby like that. Mr. Hill played with his kids like that.
That water is way too deep for him. He don't have to worry about catching daddy. Daddy can catch himself. He's got sense. He won't let the baby hit the water. Rickie is a super baby but not for swimming. That's something a man would do.
Rickie can see other people on the shore. He's looking back. David is waist deep in the water.
Swimming is fun sometimes but it's dangerous too. There's sharks in the pacific ocean. It's not like this water but it's deep enough for big ships. But it's no place for a baby or a man either. A swimming pool is good enough. 9 to 12 feet is deep enough.
Mr. Hill's Uncle Fred through him in the water. He'll never forget it. He had to swim. Uncle Fred rescued him. Picked him up out of the water.
