It was Betty's first day out of her home. She had been ill with a very rare disease that prevented her from the experience of being outside. As she began to walk in her garden she felt the crisp morning air and smelled the the mixed fragrances of the garden flowers. She closed her eyes and slowly walked through the vast maze of flowering bushes and colorful flowers. Just being outside brought her great joy but when her face brushed against one of the flowers it made her laugh with glee and she touched her face to capture the feeling. Now that she was free from the bonds of her home, she could experience this feeling as often as she wanted.
