Looks like they are about to fight. Two boys are going to square off. Ages eight and nine. And two other boys are behind them kind of focusing on what they are about to do.
I think they are playing around, yeah play fighting!
They both have a little bit of a smirk on their faces. I don't know what the other kid is doing, he is squatting down and observing them. The other boy is watching him too. He looks lost, he doesn't know what's going on. However, the other boy has picked up an eighteen inch part of a branch. He may be making a decision to side with one of the boys.
It looks like a different country, like South America. Exactly, that's what I was thinking!
They were running around playing in the sand. I believe the photo was set up. They were told to pose in a fighting position. One is leaning back and one is leaning forward. The dad is taking the picture because they are boys and they want to fight. It's more masculine. But I'm waiting for someone to throw a punch, not too hard, and most likely the other to return it. And I fully expect the two boys to hug and laugh about it.
