This visit was done with an individual in a memory care unit; Miss Evelyn. She was conversive upon arrival but rarely able to be understood. She was given this picture and her eyes got bright and her verbal response was "BiG BaBy". Her words and facial experessions were more animated and expressive. She would chuckle as she looked at the picture and repeat "big". Pt initially was conversive but rarely able to be understood. I showed the picture of the baby and Evelyn's eyes got bright and her verbal interaction was amazing in addition to the expression of her words. She would chuckle, open her eyes wide and say "BIG"...she was referring the the baby being BiG. When attempting to get her to assist in telling a story about the baby picture she was unable to but went on to say each of her four children's names and said she was a nurse but no other verbal interaction at that time. She swayed back and forth and began to hum as if comforting a baby.
