"Oooohh those boys are fightin'!" says Bill. But no, they're laughing, they're just being silly, Judy thinks. One has a crab in his hand and the other boy is scared of it. Their names are Robert and Donnie. The boy in the dark suit is Jake. He's getting ready to go tell on them boys. They're gonna be in big trouble. They're at the beach in Rehoboth where we used to go every summer. They have big buildings like that there, but that wall is new. They hear seagulls. The sand is hot. You can smell french fries. This happened last week. "They're gonna get in big trouble! No fighting!" says Bill. It's summertime at the beach. "Where are the boys parents?" Bill wants to know. The mom is lying in the sun trying to get tan. She wants to look good. The dad is at work, thinks Frannie. Donnie is scared of that crab. Robert is just being mean. Jake is laughing so hard he is falling down. The other boy is just watching. No one knows his name, he won't tell. No one wins the fight, they both get their asses whipped good! No fighting! Donnie grows up to be a boxer, he has the right moves.
