There are two dogs in two cars waiting at the red light. The dog with the red scarf is called “Ready, Willing and Able”. “Not Mabel” said Mabel. The other dog is a big boss dog, he is a male and he is making eyes at Ready, Willing and Able. They are looking at each other and thinking “We’ll meet in the park”. We wondered what they will do in the park. Why, they’ll do what dogs do. They’ll do doggie do - that’s why you need to bring plastic bags. The dog’s owners are driving the car, but really the dogs own them. They are really chauffers. The dogs are making eyes at each other, and the chauffers are making eyes at each other too.
When the light turns green they go. The big dog whose name is Ginger thinks “My car is bigger than your car, my lights are bigger than your lights.” They go to the park.
After the park, the dogs return home to a dull life, sitting under the table waiting to be fed. Tonight the dogs will be fed sausage and PAL and maybe also have a little caviar. That’ a real posh dinner so they might also have truffles. After dinner the two dogs will sit by the big open fire. The reason they’re together is because the drivers went home together. The dogs are wondering “Hope a burglar doesn’t break in tonight”.
This story should have a happy ending. The happy ending would be a litter of pups. She really was Ready, Willing and Able.
