Merry Christmas is his name and he is out delivering packages, Christmas cards and stamps. He looks happy but he is cold! He is bringing presents to children, friends and family to make them happy.
It is a cold day in December in Chicago. He hears Christmas carols and you can hear sounds like “crunch, crunch” and the smell of pine and spiced cider in the air. I wonder what is in the packages. It must be something small, like a book. It’s almost time to open the packages to see what is inside.
The houses are decorated with homemade pretty wreaths hanging on the doors. Next I bet the snow will probably turn to slush!
