Oh dear! If it was me, I’d get away to Katoomba! Are these pigs, piglets or piggy wiggies?
The mother pig is sleeping and the piglets are having a feed—having a drink. It’s taking place on Maria’s father’s farm “Carrahoja”!
The mother pig is thinking: “Thank goodness I’m nearly at the end.” She’s being going back and forth looking after the piglets. The grandfather pig could be hanging around waiting.
The grass is a bit rough. It might be Spring or Summer. After the piglets have their feed, Maria thinks the mother pig will be very tired and she could fall down. But the doctor will come and make sure she’s okay. When the piglets have finished, they will have forty winks. And the mother pig will have a rest!
