By the storytellers of Havenwood Heritage Heights
Food, people, a big gathering. It's outdoors.
The end of the table with the desserts on it.
It's a church fair - there are people in the background not eating.
There's a mom and baby (the youngest) - children are sitting on the table, tsk tsk! The head child is not a very old child.
They're the children of the servers. The women are mostly serving. There's a very tall child in a dark suit.
They have sweaters on so it's spring or fall.
The yellow thing - could be a balloon, three balls. The woman with the hat holding the yellow thing looks like she has a straw.
It looks like they're in the woods. The sun's coming through.
It's more of a country area than a city area. They're in the backyard of the church.
It's New England - Massachusetts.
It must be a nice day because the food is not covered.
It's late afternoon. It's a big celebration once a year (if there's good weather).
If they have a fundraiser there are 2 or 3 a year.
It's very crowded. There are 75-200 people.
Way over they have a dish to pour things and maybe there's more of the table we don't see. There must be more food. We got the dessert end: cakes, pies, cookies, a 4-layer cake.
The table is enlarged. There's a table for children. There must be other tables.
The one lady in the front is being harassed - her apron is falling down. She is dishing out the food - serving a big piece.
The people in the back are standing and waiting.
They have no tablecloths on the tables, they're in the woods. There is one on the kids' table.
There could be other things to do, maybe games to play.
The people keep coming - drinks are on another table.
The baby is drinking something - where's the ice?
There's a separate area for admission. It's $5 per person and children under a certain age (5) get in free.
Other organizations donate/sponsor.
There's somebody writing pictures on the kids faces - face painting.
There could be rides, bean bag toss, horseshoes, quoits, ladies selling crochet and knitting.
There are a whole lotta tress in the background. It looks like they're in the woods.
It's a big church. They're really clustering together.
There's a building in the top left corner that looks municipal.
Country folk - men are farmers. A lot of them are dressed up as if they came from church.
They're in the country. Country bumpkins.
There's booze in the background.
A napkin or something is stuffed in the tree.
They haven't served much of the desserts yet - they eat them after the main meal.
They can't all sit around the table - it's very crowded.
There's a woman peeking behind the other serving and she's the one in charge.
If you look at it long enough you get very hungry.
The little kids sitting on the. table are having their dessert. The little boy is eating a popsicle and the little girl has an ice cream cone.
It's a weekend event and fundraiser.
Everyone thought it was very successful.
