He is a young man who likes to be in charge and tell everybody what to do and he loves chickens. Old Hank is his name. He is a shy man but very sweet. He’s just new. The kids all gather around him which gives you a feeling of what he wants. He starts the children laughing.
Old Hank is in Vancouver with his chickens. He is pushed and doesn’t know what he is doing. He can’t believe everybody loves him.
The chickens lay eggs and they are for eating. They are looking for their meal.
It’s warm and sunny and you can smell the chicken droppings. Old Hank is going home; he looks like he needs some food. He is going to have some good meat for dinner. His mother and father will be there and they like to eat chicken.
Old Hank has a family; he is very much a family man. Or maybe he’s a bachelor on the farm. He probably has three children. Their names are Henry, Jack and Leonard or he could have a girl called Michelle, Denin or Patricia.
There could be something on fire in the background. It might be a tree. The shadow behind him is a black cat in the window.
There are five roosters so the hens are well looked after! 18 chickens in total. They sit on the red chairs especially the roosters and then the say cock-a-doodle-do.
Old Hank is going to feed the chickens before he goes home. He might water them too. Then the chickens will go right in to sleep.
