These two boys, Paul and Robert, are family friends who met at school. Their parents became friends and brought the two families on a vacation to South Carolina, Hilton Head most specifically. Paul is 5 years old and in kindergarten. Robert, who is wearing the white shirt, is 6 years old and is in first grade. These two boys have never really gotten along because they always fight over the slide during recess at school, a fact in which their parents don’t know. The boys are about to start fighting again on the beach outside of their hotel. They are fighting this time because Robert is holding a toy sailboat and won’t share it with Paul, a repeat of what happens at school. Paul tells Robert that he’s finally had enough of this nonsense and this is how the fight breaks out. Paul starts this fight with the intentions of setting boundaries, enough is enough. Paul’s dad is in the background on his way to coral dive when he notices that there might be a potential between the boys. He is watching from a distance and is ready to step in if needed. Unfortunately, this type of behavior persists between Paul and Robert and they never truly end up becoming friends at any point during their lives. Paul grows us to be a lawyer, fighting for justice. He has 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. Robert grows up to be a owner of a hardware store and ultimately becomes a deacon of the church. He has a big family made up of 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls.
