It's summertime in the parking lot down by the mall; two cars are stopped by a traffic light. Two dogs are sitting with their heads out the window. All of a sudden they start talking to each other. I can just imagine what they were saying to each other, "I like to stick my head out the window but sometimes my boss tells me to put my head back in." As this is going on, I am very amused as I watch these dogs talk to each other as if they were real people. I had just parked my car and was crossing the street to get into the mall. Then I went into the store to sit on a bench to relax while my wife did the shopping; it is a beautiful sunny day. While I was sitting on a bench and relaxing, a fellow sat across from me at the other end of the bench. I thought that I should say something to him. We started talking and I asked if he was doing the same thing I was doing; I also said that I am not comfortable when I walk too much. The other fellow said, "that's exactly what I am doing." I enjoyed watching the other people go by and having someone to talk to when I sat down. We sat there for forty five minutes talking to each other and I mentioned the two dogs that seemed to be communicating with each other in their way. Finally, he says, "you know, these two dogs were enjoying life and each other. So, we mutually agreed that if two dogs can be nice to each other and enjoy each other, why can't we all enjoy life together?
