It was time! I had a morning when all that happened was rushing and yelling and lots of attitude!
I felt like just staying in my pyjama's and having crumpets and marmalade.
Why I had to be woken up and whisked out of my cosy cot was beyond my understanding!
I could smell the coffee and could see the billowing swirls of steam from the kettle. There was a strong and sharp odour and sounds of panic and despair. The crumpets, the last of the crumpets had burnt and caught in the wires and burning elements of our worn out toaster.
Apparently that made us late. There was a schedule and a 'to do list' so no time for a simple 'good morning'! I was then rushed to put on clothes and clearly the pants had shrunk! So that was it. I am a person too! I don't like going out on the town wearing clothes that are too small. I looked silly! So, if I am to go out and about shopping for hours on end and missing my crumpets and marmalade then I feel I should have an opportunity for some new gear.
Just to make sure that I get enough to wear, I have brought along my suitcase. Wheels and trolley handle make it just the thing to carry my new clothes.
I hope Mum remembers to buy some crumpets too!
