Happy Rover and Sam Bob are saying hello to each other as they sit at the stop light. They know each other well as they both live on farms and they have come a long ways to see each other. The dogs jobs are to bring the cows home. Vera thought that the dogs were smelling the electricity in the air and Judy said that they were smelling the stinky car fumes. The dogs enjoy the farm smells better than city smells especially the cow manure. Happy Rover and Sam Bob are headed back to the farm but came to the city for a ride because their masters needed to come to town to get parts for the tractor. They came to town to also see the veterinarian for their vaccinations. The dogs are smiling so they must of enjoyed their ride to the city but Judy said "There is no place like home.". Sam Bob is thinking about jumping out of the backseat. Happy Rover is wearing a bandana so their masters can tell them apart. The boys enjoy being petted more than taking car rides. Their masters like their soft, silky fur. Sam Bob has long hair and Happy Rover has short hair but both dogs will need a good brushing when they get home since they have been hanging their heads out the window.
