It was the end of July, and all the ladies got together to plan the Annual Parish Farmer's Market. Betty and Mary, who are sister-in-laws, were in charge of having the bake sale. Thankfully, they get along well. The parish members are voting on which baked good should take the blue ribbon. When everyone sits down to eat lunch, which is chicken and hamburgers, a man drops the serving plate. Everyone laughs and then the ladies clean it up for him. Betty and Mary ask everyone to go home and bring back something from their pantry to share with everyone.
