It is autumn and getting colder. There is grass in the background. We see a mother or a sister, and she just said something to a boy. “I hope he looks back this way” she says to herself. These two people are related, and one is an older sister. They might even be strangers. The lady’s name is Marie- or Maria in Spanish. The boy’s name is George- or Jorge in Spanish!
Maria is telling her little brother to go back home, but he is reluctant. The weather is threatening- there is a storm coming! They need to get home as soon as possible. He is such a rascal! The weather is cold and they have their collars turned up. Jorge is wearing a big cap, and Maria has on her sparkly shoes. They have their warm clothing on.
Maria and Jorge live just outside of town on a farm in the Midwest. It is a beautiful, gentle area. They are hurrying home and trying to get under protection. They are expecting the first snow, or maybe even rain!
They are mad at each other and are going different ways. Jorge is reluctant and wants to go with Maria. He is turning around to follow her home. We hope they make it home before the storm do they can relax and enjoy.
