Grandma Loves To Dance
Written in Woodruff, Wisconsin by Bob, Lu, Jenny, Jean, Marie, Barbara, Bill, Joe, Marshall, Nancy and Sheri
There's a street dance with live music! It is outside in a different country. They are in Uruguay or Mexico because of the short stockings being worn. It is warm.
There is one guy playing a guitar and another playing a violin. They are playing Spanish music. It is not a waltz but could be a two step, tango, salsa or even a polka! They are surrounded by the noise of the music, people clapping and talking.
Two children are resting and watching the dancers. They are brother and sister. The dancers are their grandmother and their dad. They all live in the same neighborhood. There is ice cream there.
Grandmother is a good cook! She makes hamburgers, chili, steaks, corn dogs and uses a slow cooker. She cooks spicy or mild foods.
When the day ends they will go to sit down or go home and watch the fireworks.
