It’s a funny looking cricket match,it looks like they’re going to have a fight. They’re eyeing each other up to see what they are gong to do. It’s a day at the beach, “Come on - I’ll take you on” Their names are David and Steven and they’re on the beach, one’s dressed for summer and the other is dressed for winter. It’s springtime. It’s 20 years ago, no boys wear shorts like that anymore. They’re about 9 or 10. They’re 8! They’re eyeing each other up deciding what to do. It’s all a big joke. They’re feeling stupid and pugnacious. They’re smiling and very cheeky boys just posing for the camera. Their families are behind them saying ‘Come on get on with it!” No one will win because dad will clip both on their ears. The one with clothes will win because he looks like he knows what to do. How would I know I only have daughters? They’ll grow up to be doctors, dentists, bankers, lawyers and normal happy boys. They’re just going through that. They’ll be good friends after.
