here are 2 characters: one with the cookie jar and the other a dog. Mostly, boys need to Thave a dog. The little boy is called Jack; he is 6 years old. The dog’s name is Rupert since dogs are always called Rupert. The cookies in the cookie jar are shortbread.
Is there a cookie for Rupert? Jack is going to give a cookie to Rupert; nobody can resist a dog asking for cookies. Jack and his dog get into mischief sometimes; the boy is not mean, just a little monkey. Jack has a family or he wouldn’t be here. His family is at home. Jack may have taken the cookie jar without his mom knowing. Oh jack is in trouble! He is a greedy little thing, isn’t he? Children can’t resist a cookie….or two. Jack just feels like he wants a cookie; that’s just such a temptation for a little boy and a dog.
When asked by his parents, Jack is going to say that the cookie jar accidentally fell over by his side and the cookies were so good. Jack has a brother called Jason and a sister called Emily. They get along pretty well although there is always a little bit of arguing among siblings. “You ate part of my cookies”, they will say since Jack is not going to share the cookies.
Jack is going to put some of the cookies back in the jar, put the jar on top of the table, and take Rupert out for a walk, or he may blame the dog for eating the cookies. It’s so easy for a dog to take a mouthful and eat all the cookies. But Jack is not going to get away with it!
It is most likely that Jack may grow up to be a cookie thief and a cookie monster.
