Hallelujah: Perfect Flight
He is skating through the air and saying “I am here!”
Ellen looks at the photo and exclaims: “Oh God, what is that?”
It’s a boy and he is about 15 years old. His name is John Mimi!
He is leaping out of the water and he is exercising. It’s taking place at lunchtime and John has gone to the beach during his lunch hour.
He is learning to dive and he is happy about it.
Bill thinks it’s a nice picture. “We can make up lots of stories about it,” he says. “Everyone has something different to say about it.”
Pam thinks something may have happened to the boy’s leg. Perhaps John injured his leg and is saying “God help me!”
“Poor thing,” says Maria.
Our John points out that the boy is leaping, he’s not even in the water. He is just enjoying the act of leaping. Tony says he is coming down on the sand, and he is having fun.
It looks like John is on his own at the beach. It’s taking place at Cronulla beach.
