It was just another Circus Parade Day for undercover clowns, Roscoe and Diller; UNTIL they saw their grand-daughter, little Debbie, in the circus parade crowd. Roscoe and Diller were 'rescue agents'; they rescued children from a very bad woman, no one ever knew her name, but Roscoe and Diller knew HER. This bad woman who followed the circus as it went town to town along the Pacific coast. Today the circus was in Portland, Oregon; it had recently performed in California and was heading up to Seattle, WA.
Roscoe and Diller were standing in the whirl of circus smells and sounds; cotton candy machines were tossing out the enticing scents of spun sugar, and the ever popping popcorn machines churned out that smell that drew circus goers to that booth. You could smell elephant ears, that deep fried treat everyone just HAD to try. The crowds were surrounded by the sounds of laughter as game players tried again and again to win that elusive BIG PRIZE, the prize no one ever wins were competing with the whirling and cranking of the carousel and the Ferris wheel.
Roscoe and Diller had to act quickly. The Bad woman was going to try to grab their beloved Debbie, the bad woman had managed to grab children as she followed the circus from town to town; not this time! The clowns danced up to Debbie's parents and asked if she could be in a photo for the circus parade, the parents had to say 'yes', they would never just take a child for a photo without the parents consent!
Debbie's parents said they could; Roscoe and Diller scooped little Debbie up before the bad woman could grab her and swung her into the circus parade photo! This was what these wonderful clowns did, disguised as colorful clowns, they are able to beat the bad woman at her nefarious game. No one would ever recognize them out of the clown make-up, they looked like anyone you would see on the street. This is the job that Roscoe and Diller love, saving children.
After the parade Roscoe and Diller can take little Debbie on rides and play circus games when they are out of their clown makeup they will look just like the loving grandparents they are, little Debbie will go home safe with her parents and Roscoe and Diller will go on with the Circus, keeping children safely out of the clutches of the bad woman.
