Having a Wonderful Time at Grandma's Birthday - Wish You were Here
Penny and Joe are hiding behind the couch.They maybe playing hide and seek because they want to.
Before they hid they dropped something.
We are beginning to wonder what they dropped. Maybe it was money, Penny dropped it from her purse.
Joe looks at Penny and says sternly, "Why did you do that?"
They live in a great big house.
It turns out they are hiding from someone in the house. It is their grandmother.
They are hiding because they are giving her a party...A Big Party!
The money they lost was to buy grandma presents and they felt very sad.
They have to think of something else; they can make her a present.
Something crochet?
They begin to argue about what to make.
Penny says, "How can we hide the box?"
They begin to make streamers to decorate.
Being with someone makes me happy.
They invite the relatives - aunts and uncles. 10 come to the party.
The party is in the living room/dining room and they are going to eat liver, chips and dips, a fruit plate and a Big cake with punch.
It was a happy birthday and enjoyed the party.
