Anne thinks it might be a dance contest but not everyone is participating. "There has to be a band" she says. Marie named the people dancing are Sara and Paul. They are a grandma and grandson. Donna said they are going around and around. She is 60 and he is 30 Marie told us. Carl said it reminds him of a time Dan Gruetzmacher came to play and he and his wife were going to dance, but they didn't. Anne thinks this is a slow dance. They are playing the Tennessee Waltz or it could be "Have I told you lately that I love you." Care said her skirt is moving too much to be a slow dance. Lee thinks the people in the background aren't paying too much attention. The kids are watching the dancers. It looks like they are outside and it could be a street dance. Carl sees things hanging on the wall so it could be inside, maybe it's an air conditioner. It could be summer or maybe fall. Somebody's car got them there. It might be a contest, but nobody is judging they are just dancing. Stuart said it could be at the Wittenberg corn roast. Everyone is going home or they could go to the tavern to have a drink. Maybe it is dark outside, we can tell from the picture on the wall. and there is a lot of junk on the floor, maybe peanut shells or it could be leaves.
