The boy with the airplane is Harold. He wants to be called Hal.
I don’t know who calls him Hal. I don’t call him Hal. I don’t know him.
His friends call him Hal.
This is a really nice picture. That’s such a beautiful little boy. His father must be happy.
Daddy is coming home from overseas. Hal is meeting him at the airplane. Daddy is going to get out of the airplane. Hal is holding present for Daddy – stamps. He and Daddy always collected stamps.
Hal was always interested in airplanes. Hal applied to the Naval Academy in Annapolis and was accepted. It is an honor to be accepted there.
At the Naval Academy, he learns to keep a boat afloat. The first thing he did was run the airplane off the boat. He said to his father, “Well, it was only $30,000.” Kids have no idea how much airplanes and so on cost. They have no conception of $30,000.
People are going to honor him for his service to our country. He went out on recruiting mission and got more recruits than anybody. He was also honored for that.
It is a good story.
