“How We Help Each Other”
There are two little children there and they’re watching everything. They’re very interested in everything that’s going on, taking it all in, and they see an awful lot of people! They’re watching all the people and what they’re doing. I don’t know if they approve of it or not... The children aren’t causing any trouble, because grandma is watching them.
That’s their grandma, Elizabeth, and she’s dancing with one of the boys who works there. His name is Bill, or Don, or maybe even John. He’s being really nice trying to show her how things are working there. They’re having a genuinely good time. They know they are helping each other to enjoy the place, keeping things moving.
This is in the U.S. It could be almost any state...maybe Tennessee. And it’s during the daytime. After all, their grandma wouldn’t have the children out there at night. They’re at a little party of some kind – somebody’s birthday. It could be Elizabeth’s! She looks like she has white hair; she must be turning 50.
The men in the back of them are just kind of killing time – not really interested in anything. They’re just talking to each other and eating bananas. The children aren’t paying attention to them.
Evidently, there are a lot more people there. The sign says “Police” – what would they be doing there? It’s probably a busy eating place and there’s at least one policeman making sure it doesn’t get too active. It would be a good idea to have two of them, actually, because I’m pretty sure there’s quite a crowd there.
