How We Welcome Our Friends
Sister A.T. says, "Welcome. come in."
Barbara says, "Happy to meet you. Sit down."
Clara says, "Come on in. Sit down."
They would offer something to drink and eat. But it depends on who it is. They might comment on what they have on the table like flowers to start a conversation.
They would ask them their preferences and what they like to do.
They would ask someone new "What's your name? I hope you stay."
Everyone here is so friendly. Barbara and Clara have much in common. They both have three sons and they are both 90 years old. They both speak German. They became friends immediately.
They might also ask, "How are things going? Would you like another drink?" They might offer beer and pretzels or whatever.
Barbara enjoys Claras big chair. Clara says that they will have to bury her big chairs with her. "You never say a Uhaul behind the casket!"
But when people have different backgrounds, it makes it interesting.
