From a picture of two WWII soldiers being served coffee by a Red Cross nurse

This is the second World War.
The lady is feeding some people. They are happy and enjoying themselves. In the background there is a stockade. Next to a runway. They could be saying goodbye. They are service people. The girl's name is Helen and she is twenty-five. The guy on the right is named John and he is a fifty year old officer. Tom on the left is is waiting for an airplane. They are overseas. In Europe. England. It is cool outside and you can hear airplanes, old airplanes, looks like WWI but it is WWII, taking off and landing. Smells like diesel fuel.
Helen is not an American. She's assigned to the area to feed soldiers. She wants to make them happy. She's there to help. Helen likes John; she's smiling. But John has a job to do. There are a lot of men around her. They are feeling impatient. They have been waiting for a long time. They are impatient to get home.
There is a soldier writing a letter home. He is writing to his sweetheart, "I'm on the way. Get ready! I love you". He misses her. But she's not there...
It is like Alice in Wonderland. Lots of men and one girl. Like a Fantasy Land of Company B. Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B. He's in the army now. He plays reveille. He's the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy from Company B.
