I Think They Like Each other
A Story from
an Image#1:
Two similar
dogs looking at each other from two stopped cars.
Colleen:
What’s going on there?
Resident:
They’re talking to each other.
Colleen:
They’re talking to each other. What are those things?
Resident: I
thing a younger one is this and then this one.
Colleen:
What do you want to name them?
Resident:
Norma.
Colleen:
They’re Norma. Do they know each other?
Resident:
They’re mother and father.
Colleen?
What smells do you imagine?
Resident: It
smells like spring.
Colleen:
What sounds do you imagine?
Resident:
Barking.
Colleen:
Barking. Wow! I bet they are barking. Where are they going?
Resident:
The park.
Colleen: Who
is in the cars?
Resident:
They’re by themselves.
Colleen: Oh
they’re by themselves. What do you think will happen next?
The Story
that emerged:
“I Think
they like Each Other”
If they were
black, it’d be like the black dog that visited. It’s funny – it likes its
people, but not me. They could be brother and sister, named Jack and Jill. I
think they belong to the same family. They’re going to the park. Did you know
they’re having a dog park in Indianapolis, and they’re going to it as a sample.
What is this
with their teeth? Are they smiling?
At the bark
park it’ll be loud. Woof Woof Woof!
Is the light
on red do you think? It’s a residential district because you see houses.
They’re getting close to the park. This one has a bandana around its neck
because she’s the girl. This one doesn’t.
