The plane is coming into land, not from a long way away, from the next city, up north. They land them on tin cans now. It could be in Australia in the outback. There’s no flaps down. We can only see the pilot. Yes, there are other people, maybe his girlfriend. Why spoil the fun.
There are people waiting, aircraft people, in the case of an accident. Are we anticipating a crash?
We can hear the motors cutting back. We can’t hear the people. It’s in the bush. We hear radio messages, giving instructions to land. It’s a flying doctor. They get out of the plane as soon as they land, someone is very sick.
The ambulance is there waiting. The plane has come to pick someone up from the ambulance. He puts the flaps down to land as quickly as possible. They are flying back to the nearest base hospital in Timbuktu.
