Rita – I see a man holding an armful of… I don’t know what that is.
Richard – it’s meatballs
Sheila – with a cigarette! Funny time to put a cigarette in your mouth!
Felicia – too make more money (why he’s holding it).
Sheila – why does anybody need to make more money – to get more meatballs!
Juanita – he’s 21. His name is Stan. He’s from Illinois – Chicago.
Sheila – his looks foreign to me.
Earl – he’s in a cotton field.
Earl – he has 3 family members.
Juanita – He has 2 boys and a girl. Linda, Mark, Shawnee
Sheila – He’s too young to have 3 kids. They must have started early!
Sheila – You need to be old enough to be responsible to have kids – a milkman suit anything. NO time off for bandanas. No shirt and bandana – time off for that.
Juanita – he’s got a significant other – that’s how he got 3 kids.
Sheila – if he got 3 kids he better have a welfare check.
Juanita – he doesn’t need a welfare check- he’s working.
Sheila – he can work everyday and have a welfare check.
Juanita + Sheila – those are coconuts!
Juanita – he’s gonna sell them. He’s a good salesman. Been sellin’ a couple years.
Juanita – he watched his dad do it. Dad’s not around anymore.
Dot- he’s helping his father take care of the business by carrying coconuts to where they get sold.
Dot – he’s showing his appreciation by helping out his father.
Sheila – he definitely has some kind of connection with father. He's doing his part.
Sheila – they are going to make some money. Maybe get a lot of money. Selling drugs with the coconuts. Maybe medicine, ointments, and creams. Could be heavy enough to pay a good price and then sell it for more. In other words they really don’t know what they have. The people buying are getting rich. Maybe doctors or scientists. Somebody who really knows what they are doing with it. And you don’t care as long as you get a good price. They’re making millions, but you don’t know.
Felicia – That’s exactly right.
