If you had 3 wishes – what would they be?
November 11, 2019
Good health and better teeth. I'd be happy if I could walk.
We can be kinder to each other, to our fellow man. A wish for everyone.
Pat wishes for a horse as she holds onto her card from the miniature pony day. Could be about 10 years old. It would be unique. I can always wish. You never know.
Christmas where my family would be all together. Right now it looks pretty good.
Ernest wishes to stay in good health. I'd feel good.
I'd love to see my grandson, Jesse, says Margie. I've never seen him. He's in West Texas.
Janet says I'd wish to see my great granddaughter. 6 months old. I've never seen her.
Ernest would wish to see his great granddaughter and for her to stay in good health. Her name is Hazel.
When you wish for something, you think about something serious like no illness in the world. All would be well.
I wish I could be home for Christmas and put up my very own tree. It's beautiful with lights and balls. Sometimes we put icicles on it. Every year we get a different tree.
I put everything on my tree. Icicles. Lights. Porcelain dolls.
Genevieve says we use the same things year after year. Old things every year.
Margie comments to Genevieve - It always looks nice, even if it's old. It's beautiful to you.
Pat interjects - "Misty, oh I think it's a great horse!"
We go the woods and cut down the tree. When it's Christmas Eve, we fix a lot of food. We make sandwiches because it's easier than cooking a big meal
Turkey on Christmas.
Turkey or Ham on Christmas.
No one like English peas except my mother. Every Christmas there was a big bowl of English peas on the table.
Every Christmas Eve I went to the Catholic service with my daughter in law. It's so beautiful. The church in Chappell Hill.
Over here - meaning at the Center - the girls (employees ) wear jeans on Friday.
