It’s early nightfall. The only sound is his footsteps. Otherwise it’s quiet.
He’s looking for something he lost a long time ago. He lost something very small and very valuable. He’s concentrating on not falling in the water. He’s not doing everything at once. It makes a lot of sense. Those stepping stones could be for someone to stand on and fish.
I wouldn’t want to walk along those stones. It’s a river. It could be very deep in spots. We don’t want him to fall. He’d better hurry up!
His name is Harry. He’s good-looking. His twin is Harvey. He’s walking home, toward his wife. Irene is waiting for him. She is good-looking, too. He doesn’t have far to go to reach the shore but it’s a long way home from there.
It’s dull at home. He fights with his wife.
After a fight with his wife, he’s not very happy.
He lost something that belonged to his wife. No wonder they had a fight. He lost it and she’s mad at him. Uh-oh! Her wedding ring!
He may not find it and he’ll be in trouble when he gets home.
He’ll keep searching for awhile.
When he gets home, she smacks him!!!
He has to buy her a new ring.
Irene will say, “That’s alright. I always wanted another one!”
