I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles in the Snow
A story by, John, Ian, Shirley, Neil, John, William, Leigh, Carol, James, Adam, Catriona, Doreen, Anne,
Mornay Way April 2023
I’m forever blowing bubbles in the snow with a dummy in his mouth!
It did look like a dummy! It did!
It does, oh aye, it’ a blue one isn’t it?
We pointed to where it is and it is a reflection isn’t it?
Shirley did away with her dummy when she was 14,
She still takes a dummy when she’s trying to sleep!
When He goes to bed he snores!
“that’s the cat!’ he says
The boy at the front looks like he wants to space!
They’re saying, ‘how high can my bubbles go?’
‘As high as the moon before they burst!’
‘If it’s cloudy and that, how can you see the moon?’
‘If ye havenae got ye glasses on, how can ye see the bubbles??’
I think the photo was taken in Canada..and the sky is too blue..for Shotts!
It’s usually snowy here.
They are called Billy, Ben, Sandra, she could be Elizabeth..
No! Elizabeth is grounded, that’s her bubble burst
She went home in tears she lives in the orange house with her dummy
She went to her bed with her dummy
They are just friends, neighbours.
Two boys live in the green house, the girls in the purple house
We can hear laughter and the birds tweetin’
And Elizabeth greetin’
I think it’s two boys and one girl
Tyler, Louie and Helen
The wee boy wanted to be called John, he wanted to be called back to bed.
And now we’re spittin’ our dummies!
I think the wee lassie should be called Linda
They are all one family says Wilma
‘She’s Stirring it!’
It’s definitely 3 boys!
No! That’s a lassie!
Ann says, ‘THE END!!’
