It’s Nebraska. The weather is lovely, it’s in the fall. The grasses are falling down, they have no leaves. He’s rather far from the house. He’s stamping on the grass and playing the guitar. His name is Hello Joe, Joe hello! He’s concentrating. Don’t you think he’s lonely? How’d he get from here to there, did he cut those bushes down? He’s by himself. One of the bushes is coming down. It’s coming down because he’s walking in it. It’s loud music. He’s the only one that can hear it. Maybe a train passes once and awhile. You can hear the whistle in the landscape. I think he’s going home. I think he’s going back to the road where his car is parked. It looks like he’s wearing glasses. He’s practicing and people don’t want him close by. There are letters on his waist. Is that a coal train in the distance?
