It’s Got to Be Las Vegas
It looks like a pool table but they are playing dice. It could be Potawatomi but it's got to be Vegas. It's a round table where you throw your dice.
This is Ethel and Matilda who are grandma and aunty or two sisters from Oklahoma. They flew on a plane to get there. They came to gamble and have a good time.
Mary has been to Vegas and had a good time. Mr Hill is from Vegas. Karen has a friend there. When you get to the top of the hill, you see two casinos and you look and see Vegas from the hill. You can see Vegas from space because it's in the desert. There's nothing else around. You can't see nothin' else.
Ethel says, "You better win. You're gonna win!" Looks like they might be winning over $300 or $80,000. They will brag about tit for weeks or lose it all back like Mary did but it was fun. They are dancing for joy.
One special thing we'd buy if we won--a watch, a car (cadillac, Mr. Hill had three of them but he wasn't a pimp or anything. Karen had a Range Rover. Now that's a car but it's expensive to repair. Alora would buy clothes. Mary would travel to St. Louis, Virginia, and Texas where relatives live and stay a whole month and buy them each a new car. Shoreline would buy a pool table. Cleo would buy a mansion where her whole family could live. Karen would travel to Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Shoreline would go to Vegas, California, and Lake Virginia. Mr. Hill would see people in New York and all over the world. Cleo would go to California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. Any where it's warm.
In Vegas you get to eat free and you get liquor free because they want you to gamble.
Mr. Hill, Shirlene, Mary, Cleo, Alora, Karen
