He’s playing in the snow. His name is Jack. He must be a hunter because, if you’re a hunter, you wear bright orange so you’re visible.
He had to climb up there. As he was climbing, he said, “This may not be safe because it might be slippery.” He’s wondering: If he could jump down, would he be safe? If he jumped, he’d slip and maybe hit the back of his head on the ground. He’s going to think better of the idea of jumping down.
At the top of that pole, there’s a glass top, way up in the air, and that’s disturbing him now because he’s not sure he can save the glass top by going up the pole. He’s losing his balance. Jack says, “If I can get there and get it, how will I handle it in this cold?” And then he says, “So just forget it!”
He decides to climb down. When he gets to the bottom, Jack says, “I think I’ll go get my gun and go home.”
