Jasper and Scruffy are in Vietnam, and they are riding away from home, away from trouble- so they think. They emptied the cookie jar. Jaspers mother found the empty cookie jar. The jar was empty and the bike was gone. Jasper ate most of the cookies, Scruffy would rather hay. Jasper knew he was in trouble, he knew punishment was coming. So Jasper left the house. Jasper needed some company so he grabbed Scruffy for the journey. They are off to Grandma’s, they are safe there. Grandma is easy going and spoils Jasper, and she likes animals too.
Scruffy is Jasper’s favorite so he wants to take him site seeing. Grandma is 5 miles away. They see lots of sheep, and cows, and farmers in the field. Scruffy is thinking “Get me away from the culprit, let me be with my friends” He is tired of being tied to Jasper. Scruffy chews the rope, he doesn’t have scissors. He is not too happy riding on the bike. He is a sheep, he wants to be with the other sheep. He thinks “I don’t belong here”
The rope breaks and Scruffy is free! Scruffy takes off running to find his friends and eventually catches up. Scruffy crawls under the fence. His sheep friends say “Where have you been? Mother sheep has been looking for you.” Scruffy then sits quietly and eats some hay, behaving himself because he knows he’s in trouble.
Jasper was scared at first when Scruffy broke free, but then he was glad. Jasper knew Scruffy was with his friends. Jasper learned his lesson. And Scruffy had his happy forever after.
