Jenny Has No Idea

Once there was a Chevy, a 58' or 56'. It belonged to a father of teenagers. The father's name was Tony and his teenage sons were Michael and Fonzy. He also had a teenage daughter Jenny. Jenny was was happy to be driving the Chevy because she was showing off to her friends. It is a sunny day in the Spring. It's April. They are in an estate, a very exclusive neighborhood, or on a field, or the highway headed to the city. She's with her girlfriend's, she's showing off, She's speeding. Inside her she knows better. "Look at me! Whew!", she says. They're singing to the radio. Jenny's brothers are in there. they are younger than she is and they just got out of school. They are driving to the soda shop. At the soda shop, there is a jukebox, hamburgers, hot dogs, fries and a parking lot full of teenagers. You could hear the sound of the engines.
The teenagers are dancing. They are doing the jitterbug and the hop. It sure is a crazy dance, and they are doing crazy things. I used to do it, I remember. There are fights. There are gangs. They are meeting Timmy there because that is Jenny's boyfriend. He's cool. Jenny's brothers Michael and Fonzy are with friends. The parents don't know what they are doing do they are having a good time. They are raising them right, so they are nice kids. Timmy on the other hand, the cool-cat, is trying to keep up with the rest of the gang. Jenny is trying to straighten him out. One of Timmy's brothers is in a gang. I don't know what a real gang is like because I had a strict mother, but I do know they are always fighting. The boys tell Jenny to slow down in the Chevy, some of the others in the car did not want her to slow down. They are getting louder in the Chevy trying to out do each other with the music. The music is blasting, listening to rock and roll. The hop was on the radio. They were competing with each other and changed it to dance music. They are attracting attention. Then they turned the corner and ran into a police officer. The sirens from the police officer went on. The policeman took all of their names and then they were really in trouble. They were speeding. The cop got in touch with another police car through the dispatch radio and they got in touch with the parents. The parents had to come get the teenagers at the police station. All of them were at police station because they were all in the car. Jenny, her two brothers, Timmy, and Jenny's two girlfriends. Only Jenny got in trouble because she's 17 and the driver. The others got a warning. Jenny did the talking at the police station to all the parents and the police man and said she was sorry and wouldn't do it again. It was just the thrill of driving for the first time and after that she wasn't allowed to drive anymore for her punishment.
