José: The Man Who Could Live with Chickens?
I think it’s a man. I see a beard. And his legs look like man’s legs. His legs look sturdy. And his legs look dirty. His name is José – good name.
It must be hot because he has a big brim on his hat. I agree with that. It’s a sombrero, a Spanish hat.
You see two roosters and 14 little chicks. All the birds are all around him.
He’s feeding them. He’s already thrown something. He’s sprinkling something. It must be something really good he’s throwing because the chickens are following him.
Or maybe he’s not feeding them. He doesn’t have anything in his hand to feed them. It looks like a weight in his hand.
It looks like a salt shaker in his hand. But why would you throw salt at a bird? That is a salty picture!
Next, maybe he’s going to go to the bathroom. He’s walking. One foot’s ahead of the other. He’s going to turn around and go up to the chair, as soon as he finishes what he’s doing.
They’re going to go back to the place where they live and live happily ever after. The chickens live in a chicken coop. They don’t sleep in the house with him like a dog. Heavens no! You wouldn’t want them to sleep in the house because they would make a mess and all you could smell is them. The smell is not pretty. You wouldn’t want to live with chickens, and you wouldn’t want the chickens to live with you.
I’ve never seen this many chickens around a person before. They’ll follow anything if there’s food. So they might follow the guy into the house…
