Grandma is dancing with her grandson. The boys in the background are being rowdy picking on the little one and stealing his money. The two young boys are leaning on a sawhorse so it could be a parade or it could be a table. Grandma has a flask in her pocket. You have to watch those Grandmas. Those little boys are watching Grandma dance. There's swing music with guitar and violin. There is beer in the coffee cups and the guys are making music in the background. They look like they are dancing the waltz. They dance because it is fun. There is trash all over the streets from the parade. The one boy is about to ask the little girl to dance. The little kids are cousins. This could be a family gathering. They seem to know each other, perhaps its a block party. Could be a gambling or racing form coming out of one of the guy's pockets. The musicians are laughing but the kids are bored. It could be Grandma's birthday. She is turning 83 or 103. Grandma better be carful dancing. They were eating brats before this. The box behind the musicians could be an amplifier. The kids might have stolen some candy. It's 1938 and warm, maybe down south. The son who is dancing with grandma is thinking when is this music ever going to end. Grandma is wearing a dress made of table cloth and curtains because she doesn't have much money. The boys can't wait to go play and have fun. After this song is over Grandma is going to collapse, but the Grandson is going to party some more. He's counting his inheritance because he danced with her.
