Life In The Early West
Created by: Crescent and Brookside neighbourhood Elders
Somebody is riding on the horse. The horse is pulling the wagon. It is pulling a kind of a cart. That's what is looks like, and the man is sitting on the cart guiding the horse. He is driving and the horse is pulling him. He is sitting on a cart and maybe on a small carriage. [Elder pointed to the man]. He is a nomad. This is Harry! I don't know! He is going to the market to get a load of hay. He got a moustache but the razor doesn't work to cut his moustache. It's a bag and a pillow in the carriage. A bag in the carriage. It looks like he is carrying a body in the carriage. He is going to the river to dispose the body of the dead child. It smells like a mast that is very strong.... like a decomposing body.
It must be in the Fall, around this time close to winter. He got a blue jacket and he is facing here. I think it's really Fall. He is looking towards us. This is in Mexico. In Italy!. There is no kind of terrain like that in Italy. I think it's warm. He's wearing a jacket for rain protection. He wears a hat too. He is posing for a picture.
There is a charred body on the carriage. [Elder giggled]. No, just a horse. He is dead because of the bad temperature. Who knows! It looks like a little funeral or an attempt to make one but it doesn't look as professional. May he rest in peace!
