This is Ezra, he's 10 and very confident in himself. He's 10. He's with Lisa, his younger sister who is 7. She's shy.
They are with their dad. They only get to see him four times per month for a visit. Their parents are separated. Ezra and Lisa really look forward to seeing him.
They are at South Shore Park having a picnic with hot dogs and soda. They like to watch the people walk by with dogs. Some people let them pet the dogs. Ezra liked the German Shepherd. He called him Lassie. Ezra put his arm around Lassie and the dog licked his face. Lisa really like the white poodle.
Ezra and Lisa played a game of softball with their dad. He's taking a picture of them. Dark clouds are coming and it's getting time for them to leave. There might be a storm. Dad has to have them back by a certain time or he'll lose his visitation rights. And they haven't met anyone on the South Shore Park beach with their skin color.
When they look at this picture, they will have happy memories of playing catch and petting dogs with their dad.
